How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

So, the next time Greeks try to tell Turks that they are “better” or vice versa, just remember that it’s the same cockroach different sewer!

No different to that of Italy either by the looks of it.

To say a "disgraceful human rights record" is one thing, but to say it's no different to Turkey just confirms your acute case of lunacy

It's not jut about quantity of words on links, it's also in the nature of the abuses ... And in both departments Turkey is one of the worst offenders, even accounting for population ... But I don't think anyone has the time to post as much, just to prove a lunatic wrong!

.... So you can stand proud, today.

You have served your country well!

Or your imagination that one country abuses better than the other...

It's not jut about quantity of words on links, it's also in the nature of the abuses ...

That's what's scary about it... have you bothered to read the articles?

And in both departments Turkey is one of the worst offenders, even accounting for population ... But I don't think anyone has the time to post as much, just to prove a lunatic wrong!

That Turkey is a human rights abuser is an old story, but Greeks are in no position to point the finger.

You’ve enjoyed a good year or two on the CF constantly pointing the finger at Turkey and playing the Greek Goddess of justice! Don’t you think its time we had a closer look at Greece now?

.... So you can stand proud, today.
You have served your country well!

Oopps I'm sorry!

For a minute I thought it was Turkey occupying my country ...

Would somebody also tell Talat to forget Turkey:

"An agreement reached in Cyprus would have to be approved by the Turkish Parliament", Talat stressed.

"A number of human rights abuses continued to plague Greece during 1998, especially regarding the treatment of the Turkish and Macedonian minorities, as well as of migrants. There continued to be government-imposed restrictions on freedom of expression and freedom of worship. The government of Prime Minister Costas Simitis took some positive steps, including legalizing the presence of more than 400,000 mostly-Albanian migrants and abolishing article 19 of the citizenship law."
"As in previous years, the government recognized only one minority, the “Muslim” minority living in Thrace and protected under the 1923 Treaty of Lausanne. The government continued to deny the existence of a Turkish minority, although most “Muslims” identify themselves as Turks, regardless of their ethnic origin. In August, the speaker of the parliament stated that the “Muslim and Christian population” of Thrace should be "homogenized.” Ethnic minorities that are not officially recognized often suffered restrictions on their freedom of expression and association. Among these ethnic minorities legally denied recognition are Macedonians."

What Macedonian minority are you speaking of? Did you check out the resent elections in Greece that took place this past Sunday to see how the Rainbow Party did? The rainbow party that represents these Slavs finished in 23rd place obtaining these kind of results:

A Thessaloniki 0.05 % votes 126
B Thessaloniki 0,05 % votes 87

Do these numbers even constitute a minority? Haaa
Oh, wait a minute ... its not Thessaloniki, its Solun as the FYRoM Slavs call it !

Pathetic imbecile.

Greece: Human rights violated on the margins of society

Foreigners shot on the border, asylum-seekers detained in metal containers, Roma forcibly evicted from their homes in Athens -- these are some of the examples of consistent pattern of human rights violations, Amnesty International reveals in a report today.

The report, Out of the spotlight: The rights of foreigners and minorities are still a grey area, highlights the failure of the Greek authorities to combat discrimination.
