Well you must be the Last of the Ottomans ... since no one else has heard of it.

Did they steal the drink or just the name? I guess the "mada" morpheme may be from "amygdala".

Although it's not that popular anymore even I know what it is for gods sake, every shop in the north ( Cyprus) sells it. If Yfred knows a bit of greek he's gotta be at least 50, but here that could count for a youngin, I would of thought Yasar Halims sells it. :lol:

Oracle, you know me. I have no bias at all. The other link, which unfortunately is in Turkish, is from a Turk who lived in Crete, and possibly visited Levka (in Greece). The drink was unknown in Turkey, but later on she managed to find it in Smyrni. I dont know what planet you hail from Oracle. Together with DT you amaze me. I bet Miltiades knows it, as he IS a real Cypriot. :wink:
