I don’t know if you’ve tried this but a Lahmajun wrapped around a fresh Goubba with plenty of lemon is divine! :D

My mouth aint that big, but a 'goubba' without lemon is unthinkable. I always wrap my ahmadjoun up and dip it in Cypriot yogourt.

omg 10.35 and I am already hungry.

Ann went on a trip to Margate yesterday with Flora our GC neighbour (our daughters went to school together). (I was dog sitting). On the Coach was the GC priest with his chimney pot hat (not meant to be deragotary). They visited the Greek Orthodox church in Margate where they atended a ceremony/service and got blessed by a Greek and Macedonian priest. She also lit a candle for me too. They ended up in a Greek Taverna and had a souvlakia. That girl knows how to live. I think she has become an honorary Greek.

She asked me 'why do Greeks always shout when they talk?'. I said 'it was the Cyprot way'. I think her headache has gone by now.

I thought that was called something like "koubes". Bulgur Koftesi and Lahmacun now that's a weird combination.

Kibbe, Kopes, Goubbes, all different 'dialects'. 'Kibbeh' is the root of all. Its Arabic.

Dont kick anything till you lck it. Thats my motto.

I used to love Chip (from a chish and fips shop) dipped in yogurt. Hmmmlovely and unhealthy

It is spelt 'Koubes' in English usually.

A lahmacun wrapped around a kouba? Your asking for a heartattack.

It was from you that I learnt "koubes", I guess changing the "K" in Kouba to a "G" is something common in Greek Cypriot dialect, TC's do the same thing, with our Cypriot Turkish dialect  . Interesting :?
