T/C BUSES CROSS TO SOUTH FOR THE FIRST TIME

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Postby brother » Tue Jun 21, 2005 1:25 pm

Can we stop blaming the u.s, brits for the cyprus problem, at the end of the day we the cypriots are the most responsible for everything, the u.s etc. did not tell us to kill each other or seek enosis/taksim, we done it all ourselves hence we only have ourselves to blame like we can only blame ourselves for not finding a solution to unify our island and live in peace.

Look for the problems within ourselves and not others then we will start to understand the core of the problem

Brother, the military junta leader in charge of Greece, who was promoting EOKA B, was a puppet of the CIA.

As for the British, well it's not secret of their divide and rule tactics used accross the British EMpire, including Cyprus.

It is obvious that such a large number of people turning up to cross into the free areas would need some organisation. I would put it down to incompetence of both sides for not making sure that everything was sorted out properly before the event took place. Unfortunately, bad organisational skills are a Cypriot trait!

It's a fact that the military leader of Greece had strong CIA links. It's not a conpiracy theory at all. He was a puppet of the American government and look at other such leaders ainstalled by the US...Saddam Hussein, General Pinochet...dont you see a link here?

It's not a conpiracy theory at all though.

The majority of GCs supported Enosis, just like the majority of TCs supported Taksim. Americans did not implant these ideologies. It was GCs who killed innocent TC women and children in Atlilar-Sandallar, not British..It was TCs/Turks who killed majority of GC men in Ashia, not Americans. Did Americans and British exploit our nationalist stupidity? Possibly so. But we are the foremost guilty ones by letting nationalism poison our humanity.
