Varosha/Maras-is it haunted?

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Oracle, some of your posts are possitively surprised me.Some show that been sent by a very educated person.

I'm just a typical Hellene ...

[confused]

"Typical Hellene i can understand ,not confuse at all. If you stated typical Greek then of course i would be hardly confused!!

Actually EPSILON, the way you dissent on commonly established ideas and ways of thinking, suggests to me not only are you highly educated, but you are also a radical thinker, and most patient with the rest of us more average folk.

Well, i will print it and i will put it on my office wall.

And I thought you might be serious, Oracle!

The first part was interesting and might even have been plausible if you had given us more information, but then you spoiled it!Seriously though, there are many places in the world where unexplained phenomena have taken place and have been investigated by specialised researchers using advanced equipment and no explanation has been found.Anyone who looks on the internet can read thousands of pages about this, and therefore places like Varosha-i.e. abandoned and with a traumatic past fit many of the guidelines for such sites.I can think of quite a few others in Cyprus-villages like Galini/Omerli and nearby Varisha/Sirinkoy are some examples,as well as other areas along the buffer zone.
I know some people laugh at the idea of anything metaphysical, but then not so long ago we laughed at the idea of space travel and if anyone said I would be able to write and send you instant messages on a little box from my home you would have collapsed in hysterics and had me referred to a psychiatrist if I persisted!

You are confusing science with "metaphysical". Science is based on physics and math and has nothing to do with anything metaphysical.

O.K. point taken...

What I really mean to say is that there are far more things in life than can be explained by rational, scientific analysis and there are many examples of this continuing debate about subjects like E.S.P.Re-incarnation ghosts, healing etc etc.

Me Moody? Never. I have a home to go to. I was on the wa to the carpark when I read the thread. I thought it was a good time to leave the members of 'The Mutual Admiration Society' to their own. Two's company, thee's a crowd.
