If you regard yourself an intelligent woman, then apply your intellect to solve this “riddle”…

If the Choirokitians are NOT the ancestors of the modern indigenous Cypriots then THERE CANNOT BE ANY “INDIGENOUS Cypriots”!

And if there are no INDIGENOUS Cypriots then you must be able to ANSWER WHY with credible evidence.

Because, in every other country of the world the ancient indigenous people are always naturally linked to its modern indigenous citizens, even as a percentage of their makeup, so why is Cyprus an exception?

Did a meteor fall on Cyprus in 7000BC and squashed them all?

Did a disease kill them all off?

Did some other factor wipe them out?

It is YOUR JOB Oracle, to investigate and prove that BEFORE you make WILD CLAIMS.

My little friend, you do not understand the history of Cyprus. The racial components of Cyprus and Greece are the Alpine and Mediterranean, both are sub races of the White (Caucasian or European). These can be further split into sub races (local variants), all over Europe you will find people that look like Greek Cypriots. Why, common ancestry.

So what have we learned about the "Byzantine Empire" which was actually the Eastern Roman Empire???

...and Rome was founded by Aeneas who fled Troy during the Trojan war. Seeing how Trojans originally descended from the Greek peninsular, this kind of puts your stupid theory into another dimension.

Of course the Byzantine Empire was Greek, it was a continuation of the Roman Empire which dropped the Latin culture for the Greek culture.

They say for the Greeks and Italians, "Same face, same race" or something like that.

You’ve just rehashed the same childish question in different packaging…
Almost right, i've rehashed the same SIMPLE question hoping it would make it easier for you to give a credible answer....but you cant can you.

The ancestors of indigenous Cypriots are the Choirokitians and all subsequent descendants thereof, like the ancient Cypriots of Sotira, because MOTHER NATURE says so and there not a “history book” on this planet that can adequately explain otherwise.

So does Mother Nature also say that the descendants of Caucasian Americans are the Native Americans?

How about the children of the Turkish settlers since 1974? Would you call them descendants of Choirokitians?

Prove to us that your not lieing lol. What makes Choirokitians different to Greek Cypriots today??

They might say that but dont know if its true lol. The northern Italians also think that they are 'real' Italians and the southern Italians are Arab lol.

I see, you did not understand what was meant by Alpine. It is a sub race of the white (Caucasian or European) race. Now go and and search the internet for responses to my post.

You already know the answer to these VERY RECENT EVENTS so don't ask stupid questions. However, the Greek mythological notion that Cypriots somehow "vanished" and at around 1200BC all these "Greeks" came and settled here is TOTALLY BASELESS, as the texts themselves who carry such nonsense admit that it's just a STORY! (And a dumb one at that)

Prove to us that your not lieing lol. What makes Choirokitians different to Greek Cypriots today??

:? What makes the ancient [insert any people] different to the [insert any people] of today? Whatever a few thousand millenniums would bring along I'd say...

Who charged Greece?

To date, only the Junta is guilty as charged .... not Greece!

In 1974 the Junta controlled Greece. But I take your point. Presumably you'd agree in turn that not all Turks are guilty for Turkey's crimes in Cyprus either. Although some of your posts might give that impression.

There is of course the matter which you overlook.

The Junta was a dictatorship imposed on the Greek people and not elected by them, nor enjoying any support from them.

On the other hand, Ecevit was elected, much loved and fully supported for his actions of invading Cyprus ....

Now, do you appreciate the difference? Or are you going to stumble your way through another absurd claim to carry on hating our main ally and mitigating Turkey's responsibilities?

Ecevit marks Turkish invasion
Turkish Prime Minister Bulent Ecevit marked the 25th anniversary of Turkey's invasion of Cyprus yesterday by ruling out a return to a unitary state on the divided island.

Mr Ecevit, who ordered the invasion in 1974, boasted that Turkish northern Cyprus had survived despite the pressures of a world boycott.

"Our desire is for the Greek Cypriot community to put aside delusions of returning to the past and focus on living side by side as neighbours, as two separate independent states" he said.
