The end result of this debate is…

The two-headed eagle = Originally Turkish!

The Byzantine Empire = Roman!

Better luck next time...

You're claiming that anything Greek is a figment of everyone's imagination and you claim something called turkish existed in the 13th century?

You been on the expired weetabix again?

No worries... use "Hittite"! Happy? :D

I just know the word "Turkish" would knock Oracle's socks off more efficiently!

So all of a sudden you're a wiki fan? What did you edit the article yourself?

As I said, I’m happy to use the Wiki for non-hotly contested issues.

I must say, the fact that there’s like 20 odd countries peacefully using (sharing) this emblem and the only ones to claim sole ownership are the Greeks tells you a lot about their character…

Now you've started to sound like Oracle... why didn't you go for the Turks? The Hittites are the first known ancient civilization on Turkish soil so more than anyone else the Turks have a right to claim it not Albania!

Now I must come up with a new area to attack to keep our minds busy…

Are Greeks really Slav-mongrels or just a cheap imitation? :?

So any soil the Turks later claim includes the soil's history as well?

It’s on modern Turkey's soil after all, and I don't see you complaining when Greece makes stupid claims on OTHER country’s soil hundreds of miles away!

Watch your double standards DT… they can come across quite obvious sometimes!

So if Turkey declares north Cyprus as part of Turkey and its soil can they also claim Salamis, Apostolos ANdreas and Kyrenia Castle as Turkish history?

The difference is the Greeks were actually there and at the right time, and took the culture to the new places.

What you are claiming, is that invaders can adopt as their own all the indigenous culture that has gone before, even if they were not there at the time of its inception.

Yet you cling to Choirokitian culture .... for all the double standards that you preach!
