..... the tourist numbers are down! We went to the wedding of two friends yesterday in an hotel on Dhekelia Road, Larnaca. Before the ceremony we had a drink at the bar, and I was staggered to discover that they charged €3.50 for a pint of Keo! The most I've paid anywhere else in the vicinity is €2.25, and usually less. Hardly the way to attract the much sought after and needed tourist pound!

Relax people, the tourist industry must make way for the oil & gas industry!

Besides, once we start pumping out the black gold you think anyone will want to visit our beaches?

Maybe it's the contradiction with Cyprus being a communist country ... they should be sharing more  ... 'each according to his needs' etc
