If you first made contact with this island at around 12000BC then we can only surrender the title as only one "people" can ever hold it...

You tell me. Are you indigenous to Cyprus? When you invaded us in 1571 you were also indigenous to Cyprus? Would there be any problem today in Cyprus if the Turks had not invaded our island?

450 years makes me just as indigenous as you, get over it.

Then Cyprus will stay partitioned! What would you rather have a united Cyprus with Turkey in the EU or a partitioned Cyprus with Turkey outside the EU?

But you were born in the UK ... any Turkish 'ties' to the Island were severed when your Turkish parents left.

That is the difference between the indigenous people like Sotos and myself, and the pseudo-arrivals like you Turks, who just want Cyprus to sell it off to the Brits, be it 100 years ago or ten years ago ....

Admit it VP, you only came back to Cyprus to take up illegal residency in a GC home and sell the "surplus" ... didn't you?
