That month, Wilders announced that his party would join the European elections. He appointed Barry Madlener, one of the party’s national parliamentarians, to hit the streets with seven slogans based on one key message: less Europe. Defending Dutch interest, no further enlargement and ‘we want our money back’ are three of them. The freedom party also rejects the accession of Turkey to the EU as ‘the Islamic culture is incompatible with our culture’.
Sotos wrote:The EU caused the Cyprus problem?? The EU did not even exist when you created the Cyprus problem. The Cyprus problem is the Turkish expansionism. The Turks keep invading our island and bringing their settlers here. This is the Cyprus problem! So don't blame others for the problem you created. If it wasn't for the invading Turks, Cyprus would be a peaceful democratic island with no problem!

During the Greek War of Independence in 1821, the Ottoman authorities feared that Greek Cypriots would rebel again. Archbishop Kyprianos, a powerful leader who worked to improve the education of Greek Cypriot children, was accused of plotting against the government. Kyprianos, his bishops, and hundreds of priests and important laymen were arrested and summarily hanged or decapitated on July 9, 1821.

The invading barbarian Turks killing Cypriot people to stop Cyprus from being free. So again this supports what I said before. Cyprus would have no problem if the barbarian Turks had not invaded our island.

Tell us all about when the Greeks invaded?
In the summer of 1570, the Turks struck again, but this time with a full-scale invasion rather than a raid. About 60,000 troops, including cavalry and artillery, under the command of Lala Mustafa Pasha landed unopposed near Limassol on July 2, 1570, and laid siege to Nicosia. In an orgy of victory on the day that the city fell--September 9, 1570--20,000 Nicosians were put to death, and every church, public building, and palace was looted. Word of the massacre spread, and a few days later Mustafa took Kyrenia without having to fire a shot. Famagusta, however, resisted and put up a heroic defense that lasted from September 1570 until August 1571.

There is nothing to tell because such thing never happened. Here is for when the Turks invaded. This comes from Library of Congress Country Studies http://memory.loc.gov/frd/cs/cytoc.html#cy0017In the summer of 1570, the Turks struck again, but this time with a full-scale invasion rather than a raid.
