Hold on Deniz, you know I am not one to 'gang up' on other forumers, but the post from Gasman below portrays only a completely negative view of Scotland and Scots (and Cypriots), and is obviously a result of bitterness at the failure of her marriage to a Scot, information which she herself volunteered. She clearly considers that marriage to a Scot makes her an 'expert' in all things Scottish, and I wished to point out to any readers of her post that she is likely to be biased in her portrayal, that she makes gross erroneous generalisatons presumably because of some lingering animosity, and that therefore she should perhaps seek help. What's wrong with that?

Yeah they should be. Speaking as someone who was once married to a dour Scot Git. They both whinge a lot and never shaddup about how the English dun em down, how much BETTER everything is in the homeland, fecking tomatoes, meat, butter (obsessed with food - so they match on that point - both love the 'heart attack' diet). Both overly 'religious'. (Scots Kaffliks beat the Irish ones hands down)

And all the while proving with their feet that the BEST thing to come out of their country was the ROAD to LONDON!

The lunatics on here often put me in mind of the Celtic/Rangers situation in Scotland. The Orange Marches and the neo Nazi GCs on their GREEK marches this week (Oracle bless her feeble brain thinks they are GREEKS supporting GCs! Most Greeks don't even bloody LIKE GCs!)

Perhaps you should spend less time feeding animosity (hence reinforcing it) in this manner and opt instead to let people learn from their own mistakes. YFred was on a self-inflicted downward spiral. Perhaps Gasman is doing the same. She trolls other fora too, just like YFred. Maybe she gets away with such attacks elsewhere. Anyway, she's been here longer than you think

All are entitled to their moans and sometimes people offer good advice. But Gasman has to learn for herself how far she can push people before she is ignored or pitied.

Your sympathies with her derive simply from the fact that the only people she does not attack are TCs and Turks.

Now you're talking about how scientific revolutions happen. There are countless cases where things have been previously "discovered". The scientific community is quite slow to hold up discoveries until meticulous research has been conducted and someone else can push forward with recognition.
