Gosh. Yummy. Deep-fried mars bar or deep fried cadbury's creme eggs with ice-cream.

Can we do deep-fried loukoumia? .....(in Olive Oil of course) :D

Cyprus could import the Scottish rain next there is a drought.

the best version comes in bottles and is generally light brown and has unpronounceable Gaelic names...

Yeah they should be. Speaking as someone who was once married to a dour Scot Git. They both whinge a lot and never shaddup about how the English dun em down, how much BETTER everything is in the homeland, fecking tomatoes, meat, butter (obsessed with food - so they match on that point - both love the 'heart attack' diet). Both overly 'religious'. (Scots Kaffliks beat the Irish ones hands down)

And all the while proving with their feet that the BEST thing to come out of their country was the ROAD to LONDON!

The lunatics on here often put me in mind of the Celtic/Rangers situation in Scotland. The Orange Marches and the neo Nazi GCs on their GREEK marches this week (Oracle bless her feeble brain thinks they are GREEKS supporting GCs! Most Greeks don't even bloody LIKE GCs!)

UNCHARITABLE to their 'neighbours' in the extreme!

Both think the fecking world OWES THEM A LIVING.

I agree 100% they should be twinned. Or at least the nationalistic, rabid factions in both countries should be twinned. Joined together, surgically fused together and transported to somewhere far away from Cyprus and Scotland.

When will the Scots learn to stop complaining?

Close call between when they will and when pseudo Cypriots like O will!

I really wish the Scottish would stop moaning about how Scotland never recieves it's fair share of anything.

Hmmm yes - sounds familiar!

No quoting of sources for Lady O. Look 'em up yourself. Google the problem. Far too many results to quote sources.

Don't even have to click on the results! The facts appear in the text of the results!

Named and shamed: Scots care homes failing OAPs

Published Date: 26 March 2010

Well when you get twinned you can share your Cyhpriot SOLUTION about old people with them.

Get a slave labour Indian in to care for your OLD person. Much cheaper than a care home.
