The XIII Games of the Small States of Europe

Ok, so we’re cleaning up the medals but should we be in these games or are we a bit too big for the competition?


Populations of competitors in order of medals:

1. Cyprus..................801,622
2. Iceland..................319,756
3. Luxembourg...........493,500
4. Monaco....................32,965
5. Andorra...................88,700
6. Liechtenstein............35,322
7. San Marino...............29,973
8. Malta......................410,290

conclusion...the Maltese really suck at sports.

Ofcourse you are too big. Did any Eastern Europeans represent Cyprus? Just curious.

I wouldn't have a clue... but I'm wondering, if Malta come last in the “Small States of Europe” what’s the point of them going to the full blown Olympics? :lol:

It is a Nation. Thats all it takes, doesnt it? The point is ALL taking part in friendship.

The way you think is that no winners of Gold, silver and bronze should ever take place.

I am currently involved with bids to get money from the Cyprus Olympic Committee for 2010 Commonwealth Games - and also KOA, the Cyprus Sports Association for funding of other international events.

The Olympic Committee building positively smells of money!!!!

Let's have some more money for the Cypriot Clay Shooting Teams. Such alot of talent out there, could sweep the board at the next Olympics if funding and training is improved.
