Hatred and Love

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Hatred and Love

Postby Floda » Tue Jun 02, 2009 7:29 pm

Strange how one can have a certain amount of admiration for those who know how to 'Hate' in that one can never be in doubt as to their sincerity, whereas, the fickleness of 'Love' and the deceptions that are so often exposed by those who profess it, are seen to be more acceptable.

This is a view that I have carefully considered as a result of what I have seen in the relationships of others, I have also encountered situations where, had I not been wary, I may well have become victim to such deceptions.

Enemies can be honourable, I like people who know how to hate, friends and lovers (if deceptive) can reduce the deceived to a quivering wreck.

God grant me an honourable foe before a dishonourable friend.

Says I.

Unless this is your way of declaring war, how is your thread relevant to the CyProb Floda? :?

It's her way of crying for help but she is beyond redemption. If she was a horse she would be put down on grounds of kindness.

Then she would realise what true friends are for. I wouldn't wish her for my worst enemy except you GR. You are made for each other.

I think there is much deception in the opinions of many who profess to be seeking solutions, therefore, one can never be sure of the sincerity of such.

On the other hand, those who exhibit their hatred, leave one in no doubt as to which camp they belong to.

Therefore, the solution to the problems in Cyprus would probably be easier to achieve if hatred was the basis for discussion rather than the 'Love thy neighbour' attitude adopted by those who even now profess to be working on solutions.

The politicians have been having a great time for decades, I can see no end to their enjoyment.

That's all.

Sorry, my apology regarding your gender was sincere, however the rest still applies.

This can only lead to partition. You want Cyprus permanently partitioned?

Then you would be an enemy of Cyprus. And a dishonourable one at that. And you would have my hatred and the hatred of any honourable Cypriot.

Indeed, the question you should be asking is if it leads to that is it woth insisting on removing it?

You lost me, Freddie. What is 'it'? If 'it' is 'hatred' then, again, related to our discussion on the other thread, the thing that breeds hatred on Cyprus today is the foreign military. We have to find ways to remove 'it' – permanently – while guaranteeing the safety of all. 'It' is the only way.
