Lately there has been a lot of crap going down in the Cyprus Problem section. Many members constantly abusing each other to no avail, some members really need to get back in touch with reality. So I propose everyone keep clear of the "Cyprus Problem" section for a week. At the end of the period, you can all go back to "Turkey Slapping" each other . Now, Who thinks it's a good idea?

There are a lot of interesting issues at the moment, some good articles, with a variety of interpretations depending on how they are received by the different camps.

I'm sure the Turks would like to put the next few months on "hold"

The forum feels no worse than at any other time over the last two years. People come and go and the atmosphere changes accordingly ... but there's no drastic difference or change in level of irritation.

There's usually someone boringly trailing a specific poster to ridicule them for macho egotistical reasons, but exhaustion eventually sets in ...

Not me. People need to exercise a little self-control and if they're unable to, it says more about them, and what they've been and are going through, than the person they're attacking.

You have to remember that many, if not most Cypriots, are suffering from a sort of post traumatic stress disorder brought on by all the troubles and continuing injustice. This results in erratic, aggressive behaviour. We should expect, appreciate and sympathise with such behaviour. The culprits are sick... and need help.
