Let’s be frank about things…

I was always under the impression that a “war” implied two opposing sides but what happened in July 1974 was a one-sided Turkish military invasion and occupation against a relatively defenseless people.

The Turkish Cypriots never won any wars but simply hid behind this invader who then allowed them to enjoy the spoils of “victory”.

So, before the Turkish Cypriots can claim that they have beaten the RoC in a war they should first wake up to the reality that in a real war scenario between Greek Cypriots and Turkish Cypriots, the latter will be Shish Kebab in less than 48 hours! Talat, will suddenly hop in a dingy and start paddling with his hands and feet towards Turkey…

I can’t be any more honest than that.

DIKO leader Karoyan must remember that it is the victors who put their conditions at the end of wars. The Americans, British, French and the Russians laid down their terms for Hitler’s’ defeated Germany. It was not Hitler or the Germans who dictated to the allies after the Second World War.

So, it is going to be Turkey’s and the Turkish Cypriot’s terms for a solution. Let them take the magnanimous hands of Turkey and Turkish Cypriots for a lasting peace in Cyprus and the region.
Throughout history, losers did not only accept conditions of surrender but have, also, to pay for reparations and losses.

These are the people we GCs negotiate with. I suppose Talat, to have this idiot as his spokesman, also shares his above views. Now, what shall we say as GCs? Would we be wrong to say that if these lunatics still believe that they “won a war in 1974” and they are entitled to dictate the terms of peace, akin the allies against Nazi Germany, let’s fuck Turkey’s EU accession, once and for all; and let them also rot in isolation until the hell freezes, or until they disappear as a community from the face of earth? Are we wrong and unfair to make such thoughts? Are these people so far detached with reality, that they still believe they are the winners of a war, and we GCs the losers? How much of a pathetic and desperate loser someone has to be, to utter the above nonsense?

Good morning Vietnam!!!I am shouting this since the first day in this forum but many of us (G/cs) living in moon, looking for brothers and sisters in occupied area to solve the problem. If you loose a war then options asre only two- accept this factor and sign the surrended agreement or stuck on your values and targets until the invator's cost of occupation became unconfortable. The second needs some other politicians and some other Cypriots who have put in the corner for 40 years now.

And me thinks too that only losers quote others for what they haven't said!

I've put quotation marks around it.

Epsilon, the only people I know that were "put in the corner for 40 years now," are those Eoka Betases that carried the coup against the elected government of the RoC and who, as soon as the Turks begun invading Kyrenia coasts, took all the Kalashnikovs of the NG and went hiding in the Troodos mountains -some even making “souvla” under the pine-trees; leaving the 18 year olds of the NG alone to face the invaders with WWI Martini Enfield rifles! Are these the people you talk about, that were "put in the corner for 40 years now?"

What a pritt!

This Talat chap is seriously losing it.

My Fellow Freedom Fighters, as all will know this "war" is not over, there is only a cease-fire in place.

It's a war we've been winning for the past 35 years in the Courts of The World, at the UN and elsewhere. Talat knows this, and he knows we will have more and an increasing number of victories in the future. It is also now clear to him there will be no derogations from EU.

His one remaining hope is to scare Pres X and us in to a premature "settlement" where Turkey and the Occupation Regime can hang on to the Spoils of The Illegal Expansionist Invasion.

The man and tnuc-land are on the ropes and they show it through these desperate statements.

Oh and Pres X koumbare, don't waste any time with "negotiating" with this loser - get ready to start dictating Surrender Terms to him, which imho should be Simple Terms of UNCONDITIONAL Surrender.

Here are Cyprus’s terms. Lower your flags, and march straight back to Turkey stopping at every home you pass by to beg forgiveness for a hundred years of theft, rape and murder. Do that and your men shall live, do it not and every one of you will die today.

I'M not finished! Before we let them leave. The Turkish commander must cross that Green line, present himself before this army, put his head between his legs and kiss his own arse.
