Hot weather means lots of mossies, and one has bitten me on the foot, it must have been a nasty dirty one with lots of germs as my foot has swollen to 3 times its normal size, if its not a little better by this afternoon i will have to go to the doctors, bastard mossie.

Consider yourself lucky Bro'. I have a total of 14 bites, including one on the sole of my left foot... If you can get hold of it, I'd suggest Lanacaine spray, it's an antibacterial so it cleans up the bite and it also numbs the area to stop it itching. Not easy to get hold of over here though.

HOT!!

Postby voyou » Mon Jun 20, 2005 11:35 am

32!! that's not hot! I live in Sevilla until I get to Cyprus, it is 42 here at the moment, and it's not even summer yet. That is July/August. One of the street machines registered 57 two summers ago. It gets to about 45-50 on average in the summer. Anyone know what/where the highest recorded temp was?

What are the temps in Cyprus generally?

Thanks SK... but I guess as you are a relatively small island you have nice sea breezes? (Unlike here!)

What are your beaches like?
