How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Just my own thoughts, but I think that the UBP has come to power at a very difficult time in the history of the pseudostate. Unless Turkey gives a lot of financial support so that they can dish out the goodies, people are soon going to become pretty disillusioned with the new government. This could bode well for Talat's reelection prospects next year.

You are right Tim but Turkey has to balance things just right...IT does not have a free hand to do exactly what it wants (More sinister in your mind, less in mine) as you guys seem to think...

Essentially we are shortly going to get some indications as to the current intentions of AKP-governed Turkey towards Cyprus. If they wanted to, they could probably bury partitionism for good by failing to bankroll Eroglu's government. On the other hand, they could give partitionism a shot in the arm if they send out enough funds. Interesting times.
