Just to excuse him a bit - he (as myself) is not personally affected by losing family or property... So from outside one sometimes gets the view that separation is not so bad after all, as at least it prevents another exchange of violence, and a non-functioning government (60-63). However, I respect the wish of many Cypriots that this is not a valid "solution", not onlyl because of mentioned property problems, but also (to a small part) because it means that Taksim was successful...

This said, welcome to this forum (where I am a newbie as well, and reading up - gonna get a stupid picture soon, promise :)
