When I first had a look at the CF, dinosaurs like Piratis, VP, and Pyro, were going around in circles in the CyProb and I thought to myself…

“What a brilliant idea…I want to waste my time going around in circles too!”

The rest is history! 14,000 time-wasting messages and counting…

14.000 messages in about 800 days, including holidays, vacations and breaks. That is about 17,5 (idiotic) messages per day... hm... maybe the reason you joined the the forum is because you do not have a life.

In 2003 I was googling about Cyprus forums in English. The first forum I came across on google was CF. When I signed up to CF, there were only several members with 3-5 posts. One of the very first members of this forum was Eracles, even if I'm not wrong he was a mod then. Later I discovered Cypriana's Corner. Her Cyprus forum was more active than CF then.

I recently had this idea to plant a flame-shaped, tapering ever-green conifer in the back garden and wanted expert advice on soil moistness, fertiliser, preening and the like.

I google-searched for an appropriate forum and have been skim-reading here regularly. I never realised just how passionate you horticulturalists appear be. Your cypress problem section, in particular, is a veritable mine of information, with so many different perspectives.

I regret to say, though, it's put me off the idea of getting that tree now. Far too much trouble it seems.
