On a serious note....and on the thread subject....How Cypriot would you feel on coming across a Makarios statue on your travels through a united Cyprus? How will you celebrate EOKA day?

What people here are expressing is an affinity with the land called Cyprus....That is not Cypriotness. We could have had the same heroes of Cypriotness but it was not allowed to flourish. Attaturk and Makarios statues with arms around each other is a false history.

I might or migt not be at any celbration or near a statue. I am not for personal worshipping. My feelings for MkIII might be the same for some other TC who has ruined Cyprus. So what?
