You would think in this day and age, that battle had been fought and won many times ... So why do some folk (like Miltiades), still insist on dictating who says what and when and how and why ....

Others have left after "tantrums", they always come back. He will be back in a few weeks or even days. I hope he does return in a less belligerent and racist guise.

Yes. He should reconsider some of the unwise and undignified postings he has made; which throw his people into disrepute and have the potential to do tremendous harm to the cause of freedom and the reunification of his ancestral homeland.

He should treat the Cypriot part of his identity with far more respect and realise it is both a terrible curse and a wonderful privilege; an identity which demands certain standards and imposes certain obligations.

He should conduct himself in a manner that enhances the dignity of the Cypriot people. Everything he does to advance the cause of a reunited Cyprus should reflect the highest standards of honour, decency, integrity and morality.

For that is what Cyprus desperately needs of him; and of all her sons and daughters.

But I doubt he'll be able to do that, so good riddance.

Now, I wonder if there is a suitable maxim which may encapsulate such a sentiment ... :?

Surely, you don't mean...

Παφίτις καλός μονό......?

that would be objectionable in the extreme....

Dignity is NOT a virtue that our old bird embraces , she calls VP a prick , me an old dog and tells me to fuck off , what on earth does dignity or even self respect have to do with this decrepit old girl !!
With friends like her ...Cyprus needs no enemies , destructive to the core hopelessly inadequate in promoting the interests of Cyprus and a bloody disgrace to the Cypriot cause in supporting views that , apart from the brain dead fascists, no one else wants to be associated with. Ask any member of our RoC government , any member of our international representatives be it at the UN , the EU or the world large , do they support such comments that she supports , vulgar signatures , War as an option , hatred and more hatred ?
I did at one stage , with hindsight rather erroneously , thought of her as an intellectual and well educated individual , what an indiscretionary assessment , she is full of crap just like all Rich mainland Greedy Greeks , who give no shit for anyone apart from what is to their benefit. Clear off woman you are a worthless contributor to the Cypriot cause and an embarrassment .

And now I will add to that list this other facet of your downward spiral for the worm that you are!

You are the singular most depraved Cypriot I have ever had the displeasure of hearing speak. If my father, the gentlest, kindest man that ever lived, could hear you praise a Turk like VP for proposing raping GC women and you have the nerve to jump to the Turk's defence ... then he as a man who would not even shoot a rabbit, would probably slit your throat ...

Miltiades ... you make me sick! Only vernacular is suitable for you.
