On the one side there are those GCs who use sayings like " the only good Turk is a dead turk" and on the other there are those that tell me they love me.

Now let me see:

I don't think that a humane reaction to facts is classified as a characteristic mate. Swearing out loud when someone slams your fingers in a door can be seen as a reaction to the situation don't you think.

I seem to recall a similar situation by a TC who had written something similar about Gavur's in his sig. He had one TC (Deniz I believe) confront him about it.

I for one didn't agree with the expression regardless of how one chooses to translate it (and I said so early on in this thread).

Come on Zan, you have been around this forum long enough to know that every one of your points can be challenged and countered, the same old arguments will be dragged out yet again, both sides have issues with each other. Why can't you show a more positive attitude towards the abhorrence of racism demonstrated by some today.

I have found many more of my points to be dismissed rather than countered Jerry. Any point can be challenged.....I don't think that comes into play.


On racism, I am with you but I see racism in how the TCs are being treated in the courts and in GC minds, albeit through the medium of propaganda.

The arguments? I am afraid the same old arguments are going to go on until the "gabba kafalis" (thick heads) are softened up a bit.
