Microsoft blocks Messenger in US-embargoed countries

Microsoft has decided to block the Windows Live Messenger service in Cuba, Syria, Iran, Sudan, and North Korea.

The message Obama is sending to these countries is pretty much…

“These governments are refusing to bow down to our superiority so I will now punish them and their citizens!”

…and I’m sure these countries are probably thinking…

“Thanks for removing your bloated time-wasting virus from clogging up our Internet… now bugger off!”

but they can use other messenger engines such as skype which the europeans will never block....microsoft is shooting themselves in the foot with this one...

anyway windows live is a heap of shit anyway....messenger on its own is ok...

im sure they will have a work around for it...

8.1?!?!?! i use 9 now who uses 8.5 still???? i hated 9 when i installed it but i like the fact that it lets me use animated gifs in the display picture...

also a-patch works well.. remove nudge shake delay and some other features like advertisments and 3 file transfer limit
