Viewpoint and Kikapu call it quits.

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Viewpoint and Kikapu call it quits.

I have come to the conclusion that our debates are pointless and therefore, a real reflection of why the Cyprus problem will never be solved. What do forum posters think should VP and Kikapu minimalize responding to each others posts?

Absolutely not.

Kikapu has been doing a sterling job at really embarrassing your viewpoints and highlighting to the forum community that you are nothing but a fascist neo partitionist desperately trying to keep all that you have stolen from us and even legitimise it.

He has shown us that you do not stand for human rights, democracy and that you do not uphold common EU or western ideals. One day I hope that you will be free to remove your Burkha and see the world in a different light.

Kikapu on the other hand is an international citizen. He is a democrat, believes in human rights and western principles. He is also a top bloke.

He wants to see Cyprus achieve a westernised democracy where human rights are guaranteed for all, just like in all other EU countries, the US, Australia, Switzerland etc.

You are not even half the person Kiks is. You should strive to be more like him, because as a TC he is trying to show you the light and also save his TC brothers and sisters. You are destroying the TCs.

You forgot to mention he is also a liar! The plonker comes on this forum telling people the history of Cyprus while he was born in the UK and all he says is from what he heard here and there. So you forgot to call him a brainwashed plonker

Viewpoint's contributions are valuable in demonstrating the mind of the evil Turks who attempt to justify racism, ethnic cleansing, theft, killing unarmed civilians, mindless loyalty to flags, insatiable money-centred-greed-beyond belief by demanding 10 times more of everything than anyone else simply because Turks are a "Might".

Above all, he is a reminder to all civilised Europeans seeking Human Rights and Justice, of how infantile is the negotiator which has to be penetrated in order to establish logic and reason .....

This VP is a 'man' with the mind of a beast ....

VP = Verbal Poison.

The only good thing to come out of VPs posts are the intelligent reasoned responses from Kikapu. I'd place VP with the bent British MPs, deep down they know what they have done/said is wrong but they still try to justify their actions.

Debating with Kiks is like banging your head against the wall as he is into S&M complicated by gay issues. VP, wise decision. Reserve your energy for the real threat which most GCs ignore. Mainly those who advocate "The Only Good Turk is a Dead Turk". As well as for those who teach it in schools.

There is hope for peace yet.

James, we need some more information though. How widespread is this idea. Are most teaches of this view.

In terms of percentage of population, what percentage of people think like you.

I am not in a position to say how widespread it is. Most Greeks I know would agree with me, but I suspect that there is a degree of self selection bias going on. A great number would also deny it in order to conform to politically correct social norms. The strange thing is that Greeks don't seem to think the same thing about Greece's other historic enemies from both antiquity and modern times. For example, while a great number of Greeks may hate the united states, the average Greek doesn't hate the American people. Just not so with turks though.
