Here here, When I first moved to cy I simply could not believe the crazy way the cys drive.
It didnt take me long to realise that this is how they are tought and thats that.
However I would like to know who on earth tought the cys to let their poor dogs out of a wagon or car on the highway..yes we witnessed just that a couple of times, and is very sad...???

What makes me laugh is when you see a mother driving and her kid is jumping about on the front passenger seat without a seat belt but the mother is well strapped in. What a selfish bitch ! She obviously doesn't give a toss about her kid going through the windscreen.
And the father with his kid on the back of his motorbike without a helmet but the father has one on .All they care about are themselves.

Apparently they were allowed to use their old donkey licence to drive bmw's.

I can't defend that, it's crass stupidity, but let me ask this... what if it were a dog, loose on the back seat which is a common sight. Should we insist that dogs wear some kind of adapted seat-belt?

If we don't, this might happen...

Well my dear , Paphitis and Oracle would tell you that THIS IS CYPRIOT CULTURE . !!! I on the other hand would say what a cruel barbaric act to do !!
Most Cypriots feel just as I do , the pretenders and pseudo patriots would tell you otherwise. It is however a historical reality that the progressive minds triumph in the end.

Cypriot driving is improving and the police getter better.
Years ago it was frightening to drive on a Cypriot road.

In Crete where they inform me that Cypriots are backward and all inbred the Cretians are absolute maniac drivers
