I'm having a Cyprus night on Saturday for 9 friends mostly Cypriot and have decided to try and impress them with a meze Ive got some ideas but could do with more, so what are your favorite mezes

Try Ipomoni tavern in Dromolaxia village very good food with reasonable prices, you may have to make a booking with George (the owner)

We speak again... My opinion is order Meze for 7, lots left over

I guess you are hosting the meze dinner party ....

Here's something simple that turns out more delicious than you can imagine (my brother's culinary contribution to my life :roll: )

One pepper per person (preferably the long thin ones, red, yellow or green). Slice longways down the side. Remove seeds. Add either slices of halloumi or slices of feta or probably any cheese. Wrap in foil and either put on the BBQ or in the oven for half an hour.

Mmm.... :D

Ameletita on the charcoal with plenty of lemon , olive oil and parsley .
Charcoaled Halloumi , Charcoaled aurbergines , wild unwashed mushrooms spring onions bbqed , fetta cheese with plenty of oregano and olive oil rubbed in silver foil placed on the bbq , and lots of wine !!

KAPPARIS, AMBELOPULIA, KARAOLI, TSATSIKI, HALLOUMI, MUSSAKA, OLIVES, MUSHROOMS etc

The pepper and helim sound so good but what are KAPPARIS (I'm gussing capers) AMBELOPULIA, KARAOLI, sorry for my ignorance
