Found this old black and white footage of Peter Paul and Mary doing a cover version of Gordon Lightfoot's For Loving Me , just listen to the guitar playing and harmonies, no backing just pure joy to the ears ENJOY tell me what you think.

 How old was that song? I have never heard it before, but yes, I enjoyed it and more so, I understood every word!

off topic - What is wrong with being called a Sandancer? You should be proud of your heritage, yes? (I take it you may also be a Sunderland fan and not a Toony like psycho!)

I think it was released mid 60s by Gordon Lightfoot and PPM done cover version not long later with lots of other GL songs . try this one out GL with the legendary Johnny Cash ( same song rare footage ) . oh by the way I'm proud to be from S/S even though I moved away 35 years ago but have been a Sunderland supporter since being old enough to catch bus to Roker Park so Mackem through and through ( oops MACKAM ).

Great clip, thanks.

(By the way, I e-mailed my MACKEM friend who is Sunderland born and bred {and still lives there}, and she reckons it is Mackem {and I know why they are called Mackems too} - so I will stick with her version, sorry!)
