You are being kind calling Bafiti a moron. In one post he claimed that Australia has Chemical, Biological and Nuclear weapons and should use them to wipe out Turkey.
I think morons would have nothing to do with him.

A total moron would also claim that our recent history will not shape the solution, if there is a solution after all. These people think that we can simply close a chapter and just open another one.
The very first post asked a legitimate question in my view. Deep seated worries and perhaps prejudices do need to be addressed if we could hope to find an agreed solution. We are scared of the Turkish guarantees because we were burnt in 1974 and the Turkish Cypriots are weary of our crazed nationalists who have not just evaporated away, as some forumers are trying to convince us. James_mav never said that Greek Cypriots are devouring bloodthirsty. He meant, if I understood correctly, that there are Turkish Cypriots who may view Greek Cypriots like that. All these people need to be convinced and the kind of solution we are after is the only safeguard to some peoples’ worries. A call for a nebulous target of the type “european solution” does nothing to bring the Cyprob to an end but only cements the destruction of Cyprus.

Bananiot, who are these TCs that may view Greek Cypriots are “devouring bloodthirsty?” Those 70-80 thousands of them who crossed south as soon as Turkey allowed them to do so in 2003, and got RoC ID cards and passports from the Greek Cypriots? Those thousands -nearly all of them, that cross south on a weekly basis and do their shopping in the south? Those thousands of them -almost the entire blue collar labor force- that started working with Greek Cypriots in the south, after 2003? Those hundreds of them who on a daily basis cross south to seek medical aid from Greek Cypriot doctors and hospitals? Who are these TCs that view the GCs as “devouring bloodthirsty?” Those on behalf of whom Serdar Denkatsh crossed south and asked for help and electricity supply from the GCs, as soon as the north went on a total black out? Those thousands -nearly all of them, who at least once after 2003 crossed south and freely visited any single place they wished in the south, or those thousands that regularly cross in order to socialize with their GC friends anywhere in the south? Who are these “terrified” TCs? Where are they hiding?
Why don’t we just say the truth to those making such claims about the “devouring bloodthirsty” Greek Cypriots, namely that it is only a myth their leadership and the nationalist centers of Turkey wish to maintain in order to justify Turkey’s neo-ottoman and definitely illegitimate strategic ambitions over the soil, sea and air of another neighboring country? Why don’t we just tell them the truth, namely that those making such claims about “devouring bloodthirsty” GCs in this and other forums, cannot possibly do them consciously but instead only as willful or un-willful parrots of their leadership and Turkey’s nationalist rhetoric?
Why do we choose to be fooled and give ground of reason and perhaps legitimacy to such fake and dissembled claims, that are only used as a pre-text to justify why Turkey should perpetually maintain unilateral invasion "rights" over Cyprus, only because Turkey wants Cyprus to permanently remain under its strategic sphere of control and influence, rather than being a truly independed and sovereign country?

What Turks and TCs want to ensure is the security of TCs, Turkey and communal rights of TCs. It's a fact that the closest ally of TCs is Turkey; neither GC community nor Greece.

In that case: ... What are you bloody well doing in Cyprus? ... Blooming well go to your friends in Turkey and leave us (majority) to the peace, freedom and democracy we have yearned for since you invaded us!

It seems to me that the only way to overcome the concerns of both sides is to form a sub-alliance between Turkey-Greece-GC-TC in our region and base our alliance on common interests in economic, military, strategic, cultural fields.

What's wrong with this? It's the only way towards the ultimate friendship in our region. As long as we r close friends and have common interests, the only security threat towards us might come from outside of our quadripartite alliance.
Ps: GR, fuck ur idiocy.

Fuck you and your “sub-alliance” crap and every other peasant suggestion you come up with in that fuzzy little plumb of yours.
