How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

The term Greek / Greece is the Anglofied version of the Latin term Hellenes / Hellas.

The thing about being Greek is not about being of the same bloodline, its about being of the Greek culture. Thats what it has always been about since the first tribe of Hellenes.

These 'Tribes' of Hellens, were there before or after the city states of Sparta Athens etc.? Were the Arcadians one of such tribes?

You must declare you as Greek or Hellenic in order we reply you this!!

Why is that? Is it a secret 'Association'?

or you do not know the answer?

it seems the second is the case!!

It is interesting. You did have many City States and other 'Greeks' peoples, like the Aeolians.

Come to think of it, the Angles of Britain gave their name to Anglia (England). They must have been the dominant 'Kingdom' at the time and pread their Anglian culture.

Worth looking into.

From my understanding there was a different peoples living on the Greek subcontinent before the Hellenistic culture was founded. I think they were called the Pelagei or something like that (sp!!!!??? - im sure i'll be corrected). Then somewhere along the line there was a tribe called the Hellenes on the Greek subcontinent who gave birth to the Hellenistic culture. This culture spread and replaced the previous one and hence Hellenism was found.

Now im sure my version has many spelling mistake and inaccuracies but the basic story is there. Deniz, this was all way way before Sparta, Athens, Macedonia etc.

The corpulent dimwitted Mrs Orams, clearly enjoying her minutes of "fame" for a misspent life of stupidity, uncaring of what harm she did with her knowing-gamble of buying stolen property ... now unapologetic for the chaos she has created for the other Brits ... in fact ... she is comforted that she has gotten everybody else in trouble because now she is not alone!

Don't you just love her you thieving Brits?

If she was hung, drawn and quartered, it would be to the relief of her androgynous, apparently most put upon husband, with a modicum of a worried brow, who was probably steamrollered by this most stupid of women who ever scrubbed a floor, or served a school dinner, and with views well above her station, bought cheap to act rich, and lord it over those ethnically cleansed rightful owners ... whose feet she now has to kiss.

Well said Lady O. The Orams tried to adopt the Turkish way of seeing things. Eye for an eye instead of what goes around comes around that they were used to. Since they have no Turkish blood in them that we can "annihilate", I say we go for the jugular right in their pockets.

Mediterranean Nightmares

For those who missed it a report from your roving reporter,.....

The prog started by describing a situation which might .."ruin them (the Harems) and many thousands like them .."

Mrs O recounted that they " ..came on holiday, ..loved it (CY), so laid back and relaxed"...

They "bought" the land and spent £80,000 doing it up.

Two years later they got the Nicosia Court summons from Mr A.

Time and time again Mrs O tried to convince viewers that they ..." acted in good faith"... time and time again she used this phrase. Time and time again the Os see the problem as a ..."political".. one

The prog reckons that there are 6,000 Brits in similar situation.

The prog then moved to an interview with grissy lady Mrs Rita Severis who went with the reporter to see her stolen land only to find that within the past year several villas had been constructed on her land. Mrs Severis nearly breaks down.

Hen Smith, a GB lawyer in CY is interviewed and describes investing in tnuc-land as ...." some of the world's riskiest property".... that could make life for those who take the risk as ..."pretty miserable"...

Mike Nicholson the reported (this chap covered the 1974 invasion by the way) describes a situation in the Ocupied North where..." rules and regulations are overlooked"...

The Prog interviwed Mr Candounas who tells us that they all knew what they were doing was risky, that they knew they were "buying" stolen land and thare may be a price to pay.

The prog interviews Tahir Sukhan, a dodgy developer. It showed him in 2005 saying that investing in stolen land carried ..." no risk whatsoever"... . The pro shows his project to build 300 villas has been abandoned unfinished.

Simon Bahcelli is interviewed and tells us that in recent months..."building has come to a standstill.

Another Land Grabber, Mrs Marion Stokes is interviewed. Her new dream home is at a standstill following dispute with builder. She tells us she risks losing all. She didn't look too happy and tells us that all are looking to the Harem's case to get them out of the brown and smelly.

Near the end Bahcelli tells us that knowingly the Brits, the developers and the Illegal Regime conspired to create the situation.

All in all I'd give it a :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Unfortunately, the programme was too short to go into all the ins and outs of how she broke down and admitted she knew it was stolen property, or that the "trnc" was an illegal state etc ... but on the whole she and that other Irish woman (Mary Stokes? :? ) ... came across as greedy, self-pitying stupid hedonists who, like a grasshopper, will dance and be merry whilst the going is good and let others pick up the tab when the shit hits the fan ... and again, there was no mention of Turkey footing the bill for these Court cases to encourage the imbecilic Orams to plough through all the possible court scenarios ...

btw ... I think I spotted a cancerous looking mole on her cheek ....

I would be absolutely amazed if anyone who saw this programme even thought about buying GC property in the north. It started with clips of houses being knocked down by bulldozers (in Spain, but the message was clear) and went back to 2005 with a fat developer bullshitting about "the largest project in Cyprus". They re-visited this now abandoned site to show how it had "progressed". The whole theme was doom and gloom, even Marion Stokes (chairperson of Carpetbaggers Club) was down-hearted. To me it was quite obvious that Mr & Mrs Piggy (aka Orams) knew that what they had done was wrong but always thought that they could get away with it - until now. One person interviewed prattled on about "how can they throw people out of their homes?" forgetting that she had benefitted because that is exactly what had happened to the real owners a few years earlier.

Thank you Michael Nicholson and ITV for showing the truth about the thieving, opportunist carpetbaggers that have no business to be in Cyprus, who have benefitted from the misfortune of others and who were stitched up by the "trnc".
