WE will learn nothing new.

... But a prog about Land Stealing on GB national tv network, prime-time viewing in by far the biggest of the Land Scammer's Markets?

Go figure the importance.

hi bill
i think it is quite big news in the uk.
i was speaking with my uk solicitor just after the judgement and the first thing he asked is am i ok? as he had seen the news on tv.
i just laughted and reminded him when have we ever messed up on buying property?
when i explained we had pre 74 turkish title which was not in question, he said he didn't think we would have been so stupid!
i guess he knows us well.
i am a little puzzeled about the figure from the orams of 170k, they purchased a good few years ago when land and build costs were much less than today. looking at the villa i just don't believe that figure.
but then they haven't exactly been honest from the start!
lots of expats here in the north aren't that happy with them as they feel they should have sorted all this out to begin with and not left it for the courts to decide.

Mediterranean Nightmares: Friday 5th JuneITV. Many Greek Cypriots were forced to flee when the island was partitioned in 1974 and thousands of properties have since been sold by the new Turkish residents, in some cases to Britons wanting holiday homes. A recent landmark ruling by the European Court of Justice decrees one such holiday home owner must return his land to its original resident. Mike Nicholson investigates whether others could lose properties in the same way. Postponed from Friday 22 May SUB
News Magazine/Current Affairs
Friday 5th June on ITV 1 from 8:00pm to 8:30pmAlso: at least one other Episode

From the above trailer, it looks like we're going to be treated to some popular, sensationalist journalism.

I see there's a second episode as well.

I think it's a repeat Bill.
Monday 8th June on ITV 1 from 3:50am to 4:15am

If it puts a few potential carpetbaggers off then it's not a bad thing. I hope it gives the thieves of the north a few sleepless nights, THE BASTARDS.

Be sure that ALL the Brits will be scrutinised on this...Those living in the south and making money on their own account as well as helping the economy of our tormenters. You have nailed your colours to a political entity and will face the consequences. 8)

Hi R&S

Big in GB? Honestly diff for me to make that judgement, but as your solicitor was aware of developments, word must be getting around.
