Make unkie GR the Mayor of Paphos and I promise to…

1. A bigger dot will appear for “Paphos” on all maps; from the standard 1mm to a generous 1.2mm! 8)

2. The last couple of Pelicans roaming around the harbour will be put down so no Paphian EVER gets crapped on again! 8)

3. Calling Paphos “Pathos” will warrant an immediate arrest and prison sentence. 8)

4. Brits in white socks and sandals heavily taxed upon entering Paphos! 8)

5. The Tombs of the Kings will now be renamed to... "The Tombs of APOP"! 8)

And much, much more… Image

Had a breakfast at Kato Paphos tourist area last week. 2 eggs, bacon, Cumberland sausage, beans, toasts, butter, jams and a glass of orange juice ….4.95 euros the lot. Some friends just came back from the occupied north after staying there a couple of days. They ordered a pint of beer and a brandy sour at the hotel they stayed in, the cost…….16.00GBP. In the ROC the same drinks at a 5 star hotel will not exceed 10.00 euros. Why don’t people check the price of things before ordering? I am sure they checked the price for the flights before booking, so why don’t they do the same in restaurants and bars?

GR, we would loave to have you, of course, but I feel Nicosia's need is greater than ours :-)

I had breakfast along the Tomb of the Kings road: -

Two eggs, three rashers, sausage, baked beans, half a tomato & chips plus toast, butter & jam and as much coffee as I wanted......€4.60.

Served with a smile by a beautiful shapely Bulgarian young lady.

Now that is what I call a good deal.

I could tell you where but I don't want my hand smacked again for a maybe advertising offence!
