Stupid bastards get it in your thick heads without the Brits we are .f...ed , even my 15 month old grandson knows this , what the hell is the matter with you !!
Rule Britannia ......

Disregarding all the statistics about what a great asset the 'Brits' are to Cyprus, does it even occur to you that the troubles here were initially instigated by the scum that still pervades these hallowed shores ?.

Your ultimate quotation of 'Rule Britannia', just about sums you up nicely, a turncoat who has the audacity to consider himself a Cypriot.

Don't make me laugh old man, you have spent the greater part of your miserable life in the camp of your country's enemies, all your sycophantic murmurings cannot erase the fact that you are a 'Brit'.

The likes of you should keep away from my country, you are a disgrace to both the U.K. and Cyprus, for a man who seeks to be a friend to both sides of ANY situation, MUST ( by virtue of his lack of courage to take a stand) become an enemy to each party.

Even an honourable Turk (if there be such a thing) would be preferable to one who seeks to pander (as you have done) to the whim of those that one considers to be in the ascendancy (at the time).

Great Britain IS NOT MY country's enemy anymore than Germany is the enemy of Britain , France and the entire world .
Your country ??? Are you suggesting that unless one shares your utterly depraved views on most issues concerning Cyprus one is therefore a disgrace to his country of birth.
Are you aware that Britain is the home of more than 300 thousand Cypriots who do not consider it to be their enemy ? May I ask the reasons of your intense hatred of Britain , is it perhaps that you are hiding something so sinister that compels you to be so ostentatiously anti Britain , and may I also say anti common sense anti Cyprus too.
This island is no longer the playing field that once was of the misfits the extremists the so called "patriots" who ultimately invited the Turkish invasion , it is a modern European island and full of Miltiadeses ready to stick their fingers up and defend the right of the future generation to a peaceful existence on our island.
May I finish by , once again , saying what a load of rubbish you post , just look at this "" for a man who seeks to be a friend to both sides of ANY situation, MUST ( by virtue of his lack of courage to take a stand) become an enemy to each party.""
What absolute garbage , are peacemakers less courageous than rubble rousers ?

I,m sure this has been said before but Miltiades you need to come over here to live permanently, Cyprus needs clear level headedness that you portray, sticking in the past with all the evil that has gone on, is doing Cyprus no favours at all.

Cyprus has surged forward because of tourism and property sales in the last 20 years, but has it used the resources well do you think?

We travel to find the old Cyprus, surprisngly not always too far :D Can,t understand why the resorts are either left to decay or updated to look like anywhere in the med.

I am in UK at the moment, where I am (staffordshire) is pretty, almost litter free and not expensive at all. With the catchment areas same population as Cyprus.

Cyprus can stay pretty, clean  and change its stance on monetary behaviour relatively easily, I don,t want the wrong type of tourist here just one that seeks out the Cyprus that is already there under all the tat.

Oh, and to get rid of any numpty  who is in need of a white cane   that thinks getting millions of brits here on hols is stupid  . Of course it so is,nt, what is stupid is ignoring it. Its a cash cow FGS.

On a slighty different topic but just as important murmers on property scams in Cyprus have already been mentioned to me  and I only got to UK yesterday

Indeed Cyprus has moved on just as Most nations have , I use capital letter for most since a great deal of third world countries - Cyprus was once upon a time a third world country until the tourists started arriving and donkeys were replaced by Mercedes - have steadfastly refused to enter the 21st century preferring the medieval environments that their forefathers habited.

There is not one single business in Cyprus that has not in some way either directly or indirectly benefited from tourism . We are far too small a nation to become industrialized , the competition is so fierce it would be futile to even attempt such action. Our core base is surely the service industry with tourism at the helm .
Natural resources currently available are not in sufficient quantities , copper forms but a small part of our exports . Agricultural products , as good as they are , especially the worlds best potatoe , are not a reliable source of income since production heavily relies on weather conditions.
The prospects of Cyprus becoming an oil exporting nation are indeed very high , my own prediction is that the reserves are indeed as high as expected and I firmly believe that over the next 10 or so years Cyprus will be counted amongst the worlds most prosperous nations .
Tourism's influence on our economy is of the utmost importance and we must not ignore it .

Cypriot tourism only accounts for 7% of GDP.

Back in 1989, tourism accounted for 22% of GDP output.

So tourism is not as important as you portray.

Furthermore, Brits only accounted for 6.5% of all tourist arrivals into Cyprus.

Therefore, Brits only contributed a measly 0.455% of Cypriot GDP output.

The biggest contribution the UK has made to Cyprus is what the Cypriot people are reaping to this very day. The continued occupation of the RoC due to their clever campaign of Divide and Rule in the 50s.

They can stick their Treaty of Guarantee, and the 59 Zurich agreements, because the former is not worth the paper it is written on, and the latter is still the RoC's constitution, therefore I can't say anything too critical.... :? other than it is unworkable and racist.... :(

To come to such a conclusion without meeting the guy is erroneous. Do you believe in everything Oracle writes. Oracle loves us really.

Milti is no bullshitter. He says what he believes in. He is also a patriot too.

I always thought GR was an arsehole, but I was wrong.
