Lunch in the Amathis is 40 Euros?
Yesterday, I had Seared Scallop, followed by Navarin of Lamb, followed by Spiced Apple Tatin - all accompanied by French Toast and Olive Bread, followed by unlimited Filter Coffee and Friandies - served in one of the most beautiful dining rooms in the world - the Ritz Hotel in London. All for £36 (or 40 Euros).

So for those on a budget in London, my advice is 'eat at the Ritz' :-)

No, it did not include drinks - avoid the Wine List at all costs (literally)! A large bottle of Perrier was £5.50, I think.

It is such a special place :-)

it is a beautiful place indeed and yes the wine list is very expensive. They do a lovely afternoon tea there too.

The black pudding in Claridges beats any greasy spoon I've been in and they serve the baked beans one at a time!

It is not stuffed pigs guts!!! It is congealed pigs blood with bits of pig fat and seasoning. I had some last night and very tasty it was.
