Susie,

We run a wide area wireless broadband network covering Paphos & Polis - we hold the same license as CYTA, and now have a license to stream UK TV, just waiting for the providers to give us the license fee costs from the UK - UK TV launch estimated September 09. You will need a set-top box (like the CYTA-Vision one, but the next model up) to connect a TV.

Are you sure you are legal ? How come we are not allowed to get bbc iplayer or itv streaming (which are both free anyway) and you are allowed to sell it to us ?

Fully Legal, as I have managed to get permission from the Director of the Office of Electronic Communications in Nicosia. I am just waiting for the contracts to be drawn up from the BBC & ITV etc, already have permission from Sky for some channels. Their license does not allow broadcast outside the UK, but I now hold a full broadcast license for Cyprus. How much subscriptions depends on the final figure from the UK providers, but we are aiming for around €200 per year for 15 channels.
