Something else I wanted to ask, though it's totally unrelated...I have what we call a turunc tree in the back garden, it's like a really sour orange that can be used to make majun. People keep advising me to treat it with hormone to turn it into a lemon tree. Is this ok to do, or should I leave it as it is? :?

I line mine with thick polythene, then fill with a mixture of soil and gel crystals which hold water.
On the tree, Halil or Deniz seem to be in the know on such matters, sorry.

Don't be silly, a turunc a day keeps your sanity at bay! 8)

The millstones are buried under the floor in the bigger house. They were used to crush the grain stored in the other building. So no, never round my neck GR.

Thanks Purdey, and please keep in mind that I'm definitely interested. Where in Cyprus are you by the way?

Cool mate, I'll let you know in advance and hopefully you'll also be in Cyprus when I'm there. :)
