They are very simple and yet very intelligent rules.
Rules are as follows:
1. Never fight to the death. Live to fight another day.
2. If the side you are fighting with is losing, join the winners. You can't lose.
3. If the side you joined has begun to lose, re-join the new winners.
4. If the side you are defeating wants to re-join you, allow them, they are not traitors, they had no choice, they had to feed their family as well as it will quicken the defeat of your enemy.

The Americans will not know what hit them, when it does. In the daytime, the Afghans will fight with them during the day and with their enemy at night. It will be worst then Vietnam, because they will be defeated by the poorest nation on earth.

Now don't get me wrong. I don't support Taliban. If you've been following recent history, it's the Americans who put Taliban on the map. They are the True supporters of Taliban. Their indiscriminate bombing and the civilians they are killing is the best recruiting agent for the Taliban.

More fool them.

The Taliban could have ended this ages ago.

Had the Germans and Japanese started an insurgency after WWII they would be hell-holes today.

Had the GCs begun an insurgency against the Turks after 1974, Cyprus too will be a hell-hole today.

The Americans have left quietly from all the lands they have invaded ans left the people to run their own affairs and those now great nations all live in peace with the rest of the world.

The problem with U.S.-sponsored elections in Asia and elsewhere in the non-Western world, as in Afghanistan Aug. 20, is that they are sponsored by the United States primarily to legitimize its own presence in the country.

GR this article shows the military presence of the US military around the world.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deployments_of_the_United_States_Military

Are you really suggesting that the presence of the US miltary is really a problem for the Saudis, Turks, British, Germans, Japanese and Spaniads etc and infringes on their human rights?

By quoting someone’s article I do not suggest anything but the reader’s attention to that article.

The United States is not imperialistic as its territory has not increased in the last 100 or so years.

Germany, Japan, Korea, Vietnam and Grenada etc are not US territory after the respective conflicts.

Today, imperialism has gradually evolved into a more cost effective, more manageable, less hectic, and more self-serving “Art”, as perfectly executed by the US in many countries including ones you mention.

The failure of the recent wars is as much the failure of the US and its allies as the failure of the Iraqis and Afghans to get their own houses in order.

Remember after the Serbs surrenderred to the US and her allies, Serbia is not part of the USA and they now enjoy peace.

If the Serbs, German, Japanese, Koreans, Grenadians etc can do it then why can't the Iraqis and Afghans?

Are you implying that the US has “fixed” problems in these countries and they are now hunky dory?

or perhaps you have no argument.

If I get you right and you are seriously suggesting that when I walk down the Oxford Street and see a McDonalds or Footlocker, and that is American imperialism?

Are you implying that the US has “fixed” problems in these countries and they are now hunky dory?

No, what I am suggesting that for whenever America has invaded, America has not sought to rule over them or turn them into American states.

When America has left and in some cases help rebuild, all these states are the ruled by their people and last time I looked, yes they are doing OK - much better that Afghanistan ever was under the Taliban.

He's so warped he even blames suicide bombings by muslims in Baghdad that kill dozens of their fellow muslims everyday the fault of the US.

Can you just imagine some smelly old farting incontinent muslim cleric:- "Here Ali no brain (well you won't have one soon) strap on this explosive vest and blow up a few dozen muslim women and children, don't foreget to shout a few 'allah snack bars', make it look good because there's a plonker in Cyprus called 'Great Heel' (at least I think that's his name) who loves it.
"Better still if you sing 'Ol Man Ribber Dat Ol Man Ribber' they'll think you're an american coon.

:? You seem to have a habit of jumping to all sorts of ridiculous conclusions… just DON'T because it's boring.

American imperialism comes in the form of the installation of puppet governments, the erection of military bases, the manipulation of UN Security Council and General Assembly resolutions, financial aid blackmails, and much, much more.

Are you implying that the US has “fixed” problems in these countries and they are now hunky dory?

Not wishing to join in the Obama-bash ... But, I was just thinking recently that, so far, the Obamas are doing a good job of 'living the lifestyle' ... you know ... handsome, well-turned out middle class family with two young kids and a puppy, romping through the lawns. Good humorously teasing each other about their little idiosyncrasies. Counting their blessings etc etc etc. To the point where I think Mr Obama has gone a little soft and is forgetting his day-job ...

Or am I being a little harsh? :?

The outward image of US presidents and their families to be viewed by the public are always choreographed and manufactured!
