But now, Bush's successor—who actually taught constitutional law at the University of Chicago—is continuing much of the Bush-Cheney parallel government and, in some cases, is going much further in disregarding our laws and the international treaties we've signed.

According to GR's antiwar website...earthquakes are caused by the US. I know! His views are odd, sort of like the shape of his head. Maybe he can explain to us why the US is pumping so much aid to Haiti in its time of crisis.

Fools like yourself, are the overwhelming majority on this planet that the American think tank likes to tap into for your easy vote and loyalty,

You know absolutely nothing of me. I dont need to listen to an American think tank to know the reality. My father fought three wars for Cherikitia (you coward) and after 74 he left for the States where he was able to live and work where ever he pleased. He cant even do that in the country he was born in. He was accepted and made something out of himself from NOTHING. He didnt have to call himself a Cherikidian, Phoenician, or a Syrian to be accepted by others in the US.

Same sh|t from the box head: What was the US role in 74 ... what was the Greek role in 74 ... what was the western world role in 74.

Mothr Fukr, we are the foundation of the western world!

Your mentality hasnt changed for decades! Whereas in the States ... there is a black man running the White House. American think tank?? Oh, im brain washed! This aint the world of the 60s. We have instant communications through cables and satellites now. I can read the same websites you do. I can get the same info from the very "sources" you get.

Go to those countries you mentioned above and seek to join the cause. Behold, a christian Cherikidian fighting for Pakistani jihadists' idea of "progress." But the only thing you will get for your efforts is a severed box head. You think these people care about you?! Ha ha.

BTW Why do you think Turkey spends millions lobbying in the US???:
http://en.mercopress.com/2009/09/10/mex ... -in-the-us

The list of countries which most invested to lobby and to have contacts is followed by the United Kingdom, 6 million; Japan, 4.2 million; Turkey, 4.1 million, according to data obtained by Propublica and Sunlight Foundation.

Do you think you can obtain a just solution to the Cyprus problem if the US does not wish it???

I think Cyprus must do more of what Turkey is doing. Read that link above you imbecile.

Were Afghan Children Executed By Us-Led Forces? And Why Aren't The Media Interested?

Ignoring or downplaying Western crimes is a standard feature of the corporate Western media. On rare occasions when a broadcaster or newspaper breaks ranks and reports 'our' crimes honestly, it is instructive to observe the response from the rest of the media. Do they follow suit, perhaps digging deeper for details, devoting space to profiles of the victims and interviews with grieving relatives, humanising all concerned? Do they put the crimes in perspective as the inevitable consequence of rapacious Western power? Or do they look away?

How US set out to destroy Iraq's national identity and build a dependent state

Cultural Cleansing in Iraq Edited by Raymond W. Baker, Shereen T. Ismael, and Tareq Y. Ismael. Pluto, 296 pp. $34.95

THIS BOOK argues convincingly that the post- war cultural cleansing of Iraq is intentional rather than random and haphazard, the result of chaos and anarchy.

The aim of the policy of cultural cleansing is to remake Iraq into a US-friendly state and enable Washington’s returned Shia and Kurd exiles to take and exercise power.

It was less corrupt under the Taliban, say Afghans

Corruption in Afghanistan has become so entrenched that the population is being forced to pay out the equivalent of a quarter of the country's GDP in bribes, according to a UN report published yesterday.

Six out of 10 Afghans view corruption as a bigger problem than violence, the dossier, compiled by the UN Office of Drugs and Crime (UNODC), found. It showed that many illicit payments – totalling $2.5bn (£1.5bn) – were made to officials in order to obtain essential public services.

Hello resident dustbin.

Don't you realise that they shoot their own women and then they try to claim compensation. It's their version of a 'Whiplash car injury'.

After all it is only Afghan women we're talking about not humans.

US Commanders Reprimanded for Afghan Battlefield Failures

According to unnamed Pentagon officials, the US military has been investigating an uncharacteristic number of battleground failures in Afghanistan. Moreover, they are issuing a growing number of reprimands against commanders for these failures.

Though the military has been reluctant to publicly acknowledge the extent of the investigations, it seems there is growing political pressure for accountability as the death toll in the war continues to rise.
