I don't think anyone is denying Greek/Hellenic genealogy if they have it,

1. Using nomenclature such as 'North Cyprus' or 'South Cyprus' (plus variations intent on creating a myth of two countries).
2. Ignoring/preventing the right of administration of the RoC Government's laws and policies over the whole island.
3. Referring to chiefs of the TC leadership as "President" or "Prime Minister".

Of course, there are a few more ....

Using nomenclature such as 'Greek Cyprus' or 'Turkish Cyprus' and the 'Greeks' and 'Turks' of Cyprus is even worse.
Then TPap was the enemy number one. Freedom of expression?

Who cares? I mean honestly. Why rest on our ancient laurels – if indeed we had any? What has Cyprus got to offer the world now, in the 21st century? Apart from perpetual division, lousy Eurovision songs and Peter 'fcuking' Andre. Maybe too many for too long have been too caught up in being something we're not. And it's got us nowhere. Well I've had enough!
If I wanted to live my life vicariously through someone else's glories to improve my sense of self without effort I'd just support Manchester United and have done with it.
As it is, I prefer to be loyal to a place and meet life's struggle head on.... Up the Spurs! And up the Cypriots!

That's not why I want to identify with Hellenism ... simply because it (cursedly) was so significant, why should I apologise? It's just being true to oneself and not locking it up in a closet.
