Orams Interview

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Postby YFred » Sat May 16, 2009 12:58 pm

Kiks come back to real world.

Why shouldn’t Orams be allowed to prepare their case in Turkish especially if it is prepared by a TC Lawyer regarding a property in TRNC?

Secondly why do you need to be a TC to prepare your case in Turkish? Isn't Turkish one of the official languages in RoC? Why should the judge throw it out on the grounds that it's Turkish and not allow enough time for the Orams to prepare for the case.
No interpreters until they were on the stand. The last time I heard such a thing was a trial in Saudi. It stinks of bullshit, living in USA you should be able to recognise bullshit if nothing else.

Fake citizenship? if they have been living in TRNC for more than 5 years, what is there to be fake about?

The fact that it is not recognised is one thing, the fact that it existed for 35 years and will exist for another 35 is beyond doubt.

However, the funniest part was the RoC court not accepting that the Orams landed in Ercan because it doesn't exist. Yeah right!

Fake IDs must be real cheap in the "trnc". The market must be saturated...

So now there are 2 classifications - fake "trnc" IDs and fake fake "trnc" IDs....

Thanks Kiks!

Underestimating and ignoring international law has been the biggest weakness of the Turkish Cypriots who have seemingly placed all their eggs in Turkey’s military basket…

When a court says that something “doesn’t exist” it speaks from a legal standpoint and you’ll find that in the real world that’s the only standpoint that matters.

Yep, carry on with that thinking and its two independent states, and it will not be long now!
There was me thinking that the purpose of a justice system was to prove the guilt or innocence of a person by establishing the truth of the circumstances, silly me.

You can put a sign in your back yard if you want and call it “Y-Fronts-Land” and declare it to be a sovereign state with a loudspeaker, but that doesn’t necessarily mean that courts will be playing along with you should an issue arise pertaining to your property, such as you beating the crap out of the postman who crossed without a visa!

Sovereignty is not given, it is taken. K Ataturk

Otherwise we would be under the Roman empire now!

Well actually, an Australian farmer did just that and has declared himself The Principality of Hutt River...

The Principality ceded from Australia in 1970 and now has its own currency, stamps, tourism industry and defence force.....

The Principality of Hutt River has more legitimacy than the "trnc"
