There are personal reasons , most on the forum are aware of my predicament .

Quality of life in the UK has deteriorated rabidly , disintegrating in front of our eyes . We have become a nation of corrupt manipulators selfish in every sense of the word , most of our hospitals are comparable to third world health centres. Our "greedy" culture has been greatly strengthened by the revelations concerning our fraudsters , the MPs. Notice how they stick together.
There are parts of the UK that are indeed a great deal more attractive than London , I of course refer to London. Councils that are using illegal means to raise revenues , such illegal means as used by Traffic Wardens trained by their superiors to fleece the motorist. Loading bays clearly marked " LOADING /UNLOADING 2O MINUTES " try unloading on these bays and you will , just as I have found out that these bays are the bait used quite intentionally by the system to defraud the motorist.
Our banks stink , our government is corrupt , our youth are uncontrollable , the knife and gun culture part of our lives now.
What do I like about the UK ? Well its home its my country and it gives me the right to challenge the system without hindrance .

My Commercial rates amount to 10 thousand pounds pa . What do I get from these vast amount of money ? 3 -4 PARKING TICKETS PER WEEK .
Recently a cardboard box was left on the pavement. It had contained goods delivered to our business and was left on the pavement unintentionally.
The vultures did not waste any time . A fine of £50.00 within days !!!

thankfully most people on this island dont share your views . How the hell is Cyprus supposed to be united when you want to torture turks! maybe you lost a lot of property or even loved ones . my father lost everything plus a family member. we werent bought up to hate. your one liners sum you up!

Absolutely correct. Most people on the island do not hate either the T/Cs or visa verse. Oracle is rather unique I may add .

Because PG Tips are twice as expensive in Carrefour than in Tesco people think the cost of living is higher here...

The Turks bombed and Napalmed our people in 1964 towards their first major offensive for Taksim; and before that our people struggled for freedom, and before that are people were enslaved and slaughtered if they tried to revolt ... Seems to me there is no end of people who want to come to Cyprus!

cyprus grump..... if you care to read all of my posts you will see that i do love cyprus. i have been coming here every year forever! My kids hate their school here and are not doing so well so that is the main reason for returning!!! As for Windsor I put that down as where I live because im sure not many of you would know where Wentworth Virginia Water is!!!!! I have had my moan about Cyprus but I also moan about the Uk when im there! Oracle your being to aggravate me now! Your posts are a waste of space... get a life

Sorry to sound as if i'm on repeat here, but you never answered my question.... why have you simply not considered a different school? As opposed to the much bigger change of moving all the way back to the UK?

BTW plz don't use the hard-liners on this forum as an example of Cypriots in general. Nobody wants to torture anybody else.

Turks did what they did. But what is the worst is that our side suddently started to have crisis of identity. They started to behave like FYROM-Looking for new Ethnicity-new books-new ID.This what so long i am stating here that a population loosing its roots is became EPTY. Unfortunately this what several G/cs do not like to understand.They consider that ,because a Junta regime did what they did ,the solution was that the people have to change Ethnicity.They do not understand that they are just creating people ready to accept their life and country on the basis of the theory of "WE ARE ALL CYPRIOTS" If we are all Cypriots settlers are also Cypriots, Turks soldiers are also Cypriots, and Cyprus remains with its links to Turkey without the defend of a clear Ethnicity ID.This include education,culture and civilization!!!
