I'm a foreign student thinking of enrolling in Frederick Univeristy for a Master in Electrical Engineering. I have searched the web and can't find much info on this University, it seems most of the info comes from the University itself.

I would greatly appreciate it if people here could help me gather more information about the educational merit of the University.

The best university in Cyprus is the University of Cyprus (public). Then the European University and University of Nicosia (Intercollege). Frederick is also ok in some fields. I don't know about their Master in Electrical Engineering but I am guessing it is a new program for them.

No, the best University for Engineering in Cyprus is the Cyprus University of Technology in Limassol.

University of Cyprus is also good.

Both are public, with entrance examinations. If you are a foreigner forget about them because the language of instruction is Greek.

The rest, which are private, are garbage! Basically you pay to get a degree! It's your choice of course.

Probably the best university in Cyprus and certainly the best engineering university in Cyprus is the new Middle East Technical University, Northern Cyprus Campus, near Morphou/Guzelyurt. This is open to suitably qualified students from across Cyprus - Greek Cypriots, Turkish Cypriots, non-Cypriots - and from around the world without distinction of citizenship, nationality, religion and so on.

I'm grateful for the replies so far, but the only Universities you mention that offer a Master in Electrical Engineering are Frederick and the University of Cyprus. For the latter I've missed the deadline.
