Why do you say 'utter rubbish' ? Do you know anything about METU ? Have you compared it with other universities in Cyprus or internationally ? If you had you would not be so dismissive.

A degree from the """" Middle East Technical University, Northern Cyprus Campus""" is probably worth about as much as a title deed from the psedo state. Best person to ask about the Mickey Mouse university is Mr & Mrs Orams.

To the person that said that in private universities you're paying to get a degree, keep in mind (for what it's worth) that for master degrees you pay in public universities as well.

I think you'll get better feedback by posing the question to Cypriot students who gather in groups in Facebook or something because most of us in here are way past our student days...
