As an advocate of a peaceful political resolution of the Cyprus problem I have alwasy and consistently supported the political war that our government and its worldwide agencies and repressentatives along with the Cypriot disspora have been waging for 35 years . The fruit is beginning to ripe. Recognition fot the "trnc" is a miilion miles away not even the most ardent supported of the occupation would now consider that recognition will ever be achieved. The EU has indomitably corroborated what the RoC has maintained for 35 years that the northern part of Cyprus under Turkish occupation is as much a part of Cyprus as any other part .
Such achievements including Cyprus's entry into the EU have been political victories achieved by peaceful means and cool heads . Telling the world that a "Good Turk is a Dead Turk " isnt just racist its f..ng stupid .
I have many T/C friends and will continue to interact with people that I see as my compatriots my fellow Cypriots . A line of thinking that the RoC has endorsed .The issue of Cypriot IDs and passports to T/Cs is not just a gesture but a legal deed.
