A SOLUTION WOULD NOT BE FOUND WITHOUT TURKISH GUARANTEES

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Yfred, this will be our country...may I remind you that your one citizenship that your leader has already accepted is shared with the Greek Cypriots that make up 82% of our population. Turkey will never guarantee Cyprus again, get that into your head. It can guarantee an illegal pariah bankrupt pseudo state thats currently occupied by the turkish army illegally. Thats about it, Turkey will never guarantee an EU member.

Or do we just continue as we are for another 400 years or so ...... !!!

why what good will having any of them as a garantore power?

Oh, please don't ask Byron questions, palio mu, he may attempt to answer...

None whatsoever, but if one community wishes protection from the other community, then the latter could apply similar measures to neutralise any eventual threat.
