These are the kind of fanatic absurdities Cyprus has had to wade through for decades; and this coming from a female in, wait for it… 2009!

That’s right people… the 21st century! So you can only imagine what Cyprus must’ve been like pre-74, with so many people’s minds infested with preconditioned mythological superiority perceptions! Image

Just casting you some morsels to tempt you out of your cave

You can prop up The Cypriot .....

Kalinihta

I don't need propping up; I'm leaning heavily on a bastion of Hellenic morality.... Just pray it doesn't topple.

Oracle, between the ages of 6 and 9 was the (school) period when I experienced this thing you call “Hellenism”, and despite my very young age I had an overwhelming feeling inside that something was so terribly wrong… :?

Some of the posts you sometimes make send me right back in time; a time I’m still struggling to forget… :(

Well there may have been other factors which affected you negatively at that time, and you blame the history you were taught. After all it's not the "knowledge" at fault, it's what you do with it

... final kalinihta/galinihta ... to all!

Consider yourself lucky you were growing up in a remote village where the most exciting event was probably a passing mule, because Nicosia back then was a boiling furnace waiting to explode…

Yeah, if a passing mule could fly and drop bombs and napalm ... :(

.... Suddenly Stalin doesn't seem so scary.

Sweet dreams .... :?
