You do realise that Cyprus is part of the EU? That this gives it a say in EU decisions and that Cypriot court decisions are enforceable throughout the EU. Small island it may be but it has access to all the diplomatic and legal protection of the EU.

Now Turkey is knocking at the EU's door again. And Cyprus is still blocking Turkey's path. So of course there is a stalemate. But that is just Turkey being a bit slow in realising that it can't have its way over Cyprus...

Turkey is no where near knocking on anyones door and has lost momentum in her EU perspective your "leverage" has all but gone out of the window.

Spot on Byron.

Unfortunately, other forum members fail to see the point. GC's and TC's can talk forever but nothing ever changes apart from spiritual concessions like the cross points etc.... nothing concrete has been achieved from a political point of view apart from the recent judgement which has still to be legally enforced. This is because Cyprus is a very small island of no major interest to the EU or to the US . It is just a pawn in a big end game.

Hey dont say that Byron you will burst the GCs bubble they think they are in the driving seat.

Byron and VP are like golon je vraji!

From the forum jester it must be a compliment thank you, once again you show us your worth.

Just be careful what you do with other people's doors and windows. The owners have been known to sue...

Hey, I'm confident in the size of my archithkia. I'm confident in my unwaivering commitment to the cause of freedom. I'm confident that truth and justice are on my side.

But I don't do predictions. You're going to have to ask the Oracle for that. But make sure you get her in a good mood.

Are you saying that all of our hopes are on your arxhidia, maybe that's why we are not making much progress !!!!
