Thank you all for your good wishes . Had a family evening and did what I do most evenings , only this time it was my well preserved and treasured Margaux 1996 , the last bottle !!

At this age birthdays dont mean a great deal , I think as one gets older one tends to partially ignore another step towards old age !!! The highlight of my day was when my telephone rung , I picked it up and a little voice shouted out Happy Birthday Pappou !! The little boy just made a shrieking sound !! This September , 4 months from now , I shall be a Pappou once again !! Daughter expecting a little girl , so hazzo pappou I'm and hazzo pappou I shall remain !!
Now back to the serious business of our greedy UK MPs with a new twist now , read the thread !
