What a set of knaves.

Visit www.devonscatering.co.uk , do a search - top left- wooden spoon and all prices are shown.

ps. I have no MPs as customers in fact as from tomorrow I shall add alongside Traffic Wardens on my unwanted list of customers . Apparently you are not legally allowed to discriminate against any one but so far no one has challenged me . So its now " TRAFFIC WARDENS AND MPS NOT ALLOWED IN THIS SHOWROOM "

Milti, here's a marketing tip for these difficult times.... Shove a big notice to that effect on your showroom front and get the press in.

Tesco receipts showing purchases of ladies shoes , disposable aprons , nail varnish and ...comics !!!
There is no limit to these peoples' greed , they are apparently , and I did not know this neither did the nation , these greedy monkeys are allowed to claim £400.00 per month for FOOD !!!
Enough of these however I think we all know what a bunch of money grabbing monkeys they all are.

On this thread I , a G/C as well as British Cypriot , have lambasted the British MPs , have called them crooks ,( let them sue if they have the balls ) , and berated their positions in the government.
Yet not one single Brit has come on the thread to support such practice by telling us that same greed exists in our country !!
It seems to me that every time some makes a valid criticism of a Cypriot aspect of life , ie animal cruelty , many Cypriots led by our Oracle jump to the defence ready to provide links in support of cruelty to animals in the UK.
We can not accept criticism as mature people we do our best to show that others are also engaged in unsavoury behaviour be it animal cruelty , red tape , corruption in our system etc etc.

The Brits on this forum not only refrained from telling a Cypriot to mind his own business or clear off back to Cyprus , on the contrary they have joined in and offered their critical views.
It is admirable that their political and social maturity has taken precedence over their "patriotic" inclinations.

So next time we have some nasty horrid political or social affair developing in Cyprus I promise to be the first to offer my views .

The British MPs have been exposed but so have the democratic principles that we uphold in the West that gives me and you the right to lambaste the wrong doers , the greedy and irresponsible whoever they might be.

Yeah you gotta admit this is gob-smacking in its revelations  Unmatchable I'm sure!

... Sometimes, you just need to take a back-seat and simply watch the sordid show.

Sublime ....

Anyway, the reason why most Brits are loving this, is because they hate the present government and especially that Great Scot Brown .. blaming him for the bankruptcies etc ... so it's all a matter of capturing the mood of the public.

Keep feeding the Tory PR-machine there Miltiades ... I am sure they are blameless

I draw a parallel between these Thieving MPs ( couldn't give a shite which party) and the northern Land Stealers. No bleeding morals , if they think they can get away with it they'll try it on.

Living like leaches off the work and land and misery of others. These theiving MPs and the Land Scammers have been caught out in recent days and they're both gonna pay.

Couldn't agree more bill c. but I lack the balls to kick when others are down. These people are so down, they are soon to be out, but I am afraid none of the other putative replacements are any different!

Unmatchable NO. There are plenty at it, Euro MPs are another thieving bunch. They say become a Euro MP, and become a millionaire in 1 year on expenses and hand outs.
As for the other parties in the UK, from what the Telegraph have been saying more revelations on the way including Tory and Lib Dem.

Yes, I would like to see the press extend its investigations to Euro MEPs.

May I suggest they start with her:

Baroness Sarah Ludford MEP meets Turkish Cypriot leader Ferdi Soyer

3.50.58pm GMT Tue 15th Nov 2005

London's Liberal Democrat MEP Baroness Sarah Ludford met with Turkish Cypriot leader Ferdi Soyer last Friday during his visit to London, and also went on to the meeting he addressed at the London School of Economics Turkish Society.

Baroness Ludford presented Mr Soyer with a copy of the catalogue from the "Turks" historical exhibition held in London earlier this year, while she was delighted to receive from him the gift of a beautiful piece of Cypriot embroidery.

Sarah Ludford continues to campaign forcefully for the fulfilment of the EU promise made 18 months ago, in the aftermath of the positive Turkish Cypriot vote on the Annan plan, for the ending of the isolation of North Cyprus. She has pressed repeatedly in the European Parliament for the approval by EU governments of European Commission proposals for financial aid and direct trade.

... Surely plum pickings and perhaps a property or two in the north to be returned to rightful owners?

Probably the same....

Have seen too many elections have heard too many promises , they are ALL of the same block , corrupt and money mad . In fairness I would say that although I was not a fan of Thatcher , on the contrary I couldn't stand the woman , she however was a dedicated politician who put her duties above personal gain.
The weird thing is that if these people were not in politics they would no doubt be in some other field of "work" where they would most probably, like the rest of us , make their own way to work , not be paid over and above their salary just for attending their work , would naturally pay for their own carrier bags "" dirty films , Viagra and all the other items that they currently claim.
I have to admit that I only ever knew one Conservative MP , and I may add that I met him after he lost at an election. We became great mates , we both loved wine and spent many happy hours sharing a bottle ( Beaujolais nouveau 1986 we drunk 12 bottles just the two of us ) and having a laugh at the antics of MPs and what they got up to . He always said to me that if I wasnt a bloody foreigner I could join the conservatives !!!
Alas , he recently suffered a stroke and cant do much now
.

erm..Milt..I wonder why?

Moral of the story ... never try to keep up with Milty!

I think Milti told the poor guy that he (Milti) was an EOKA member.
