A constitutional court ruled in 1963 that Makarios had failed to uphold article 173 of the constitution which called for the establishment of separate municipalities for Turkish Cypriots. The begining of the end.

the breakdown is whaen the turks arrived thinking they could kill everyone and take control of cyprus

You appear to be stuck on that point which is now 438 years old. you must get over it we as just as indigenous as you are.

So you brought things to an end because you were not allowed to pick your own garbage.


The principle is important here so trying to diminish it is showing your own ignorance, if the man in black was not going to uphold the constitution then how was he to be trust by the TCs, who after these chain of events had the Akritas plan forced in their way.
